UK industry figures have reacted with disbelief after London’s The O2 was dragged into the US turf war between rival live music giants AEG Presents and Azoff MSG Entertainment.

The row began in the US when Azoff MSG reportedly started refusing to book acts into its Madison Square Garden venue in New York unless they also played the firm’s Los Angeles venue, The Forum, over AEG’s Staples Centre.
