Larmer Tree Festival to take year off in 2017

Larmer Tree Festival is taking a year off in 2017, organisers have announced.

The Wiltshire event, which featured more than 80 acts over five stages this year, will return in 2018 from July 20-22.

In a joint statement, event founder James Shepard and fellow directors Julia Safe and Coda Agency’s Rob Challice said: “After a truly amazing 26th festival, which we were all incredibly proud of, we have made the very difficult decision that we and the festival need to take a year off in 2017 to fully refresh both creatively and personally.

“Larmer Tree Festival will return in 2018 with some new and exciting developments.”

Jamie Cullum, Caro Emerald, Tom Odell, The Stranglers, Calexico and Jack Savoretti were among this year’s performers from July 13-17.
