The Music Week Women in Music Awards, in association with AIM and UK Music, is back for its third annual outing, with Live Nation Entertainment on-board as headline sponsor.
Taking place on Friday, November 11 at Kensington’s Royal Garden Hotel, the event will once again celebrate the most important and influential women from all sectors of the music industry. And, according to Live Nation Entertainment president and CEO Michael Rapino, the event has fast established itself as a significant fixture on the industry calendar.
“Live Nation Entertainment is proud to partner with Music Week’s Women in Music awards this year,” he said. “Women make up 49% of Live Nation Entertainment’s full-time employees globally and I am personally grateful for the many accomplishments made by women every day, in every part of our business.
“Our partnership represents a commitment from our company to contribute to positive, actionable change for women within the music industry, and support for a greater conversation around diversity and inclusion in business.”
There will also be six special category winners: Outstanding Contribution, Businesswoman of the Year, Inspirational Artist, Campaigner, Media Pioneer and Rising Star.
Nominations are now open and deadline for all entries is Friday, August 19.
