Music Venue Trust announce Futures strand for venues day in partnership with Deviate Digital

Today (August 21), Music Venue Trust has announced the addition of a new digital strand Venue Futures to their annual Venues Day event. The Trust is giving tech companies, digital marketing companies and start-ups the opportunity to connect with independent venues from across the UK. Sammy Andrews, CEO of Deviate Digital, is set to curate and present the new strand.

Andrews said of the partnership: "Deviate Digital are delighted to partner with Music Venue Trust for the Futures strand at Venues Day. The work Mark and team do for our grassroots venues in this country is unrivaled and this is an incredible opportunity for start-ups, and marketers to engage with members to offer them services that could really make a difference to their businesses. Applications are open now and we are looking for great organizations from all sectors including services, apps, advertising, bookings, marketing, ticketing and tech. If you own a business that can benefit this brilliant community we want to hear from you.”

Mark Davyd, CEO of Music Venue trust added: "Over the 3 years that MVT has been in existence we have been approached by quite a few tech companies with ideas and products aimed at grassroots music venues. We have been searching for the best way to respond, to assess which platforms might truly benefit the venues we represent and to connect the innovators with the right people. We are confident that Venue Futures will achieve this and excited to see what comes out of it."

To apply to take part in Venue Futures please email info@deviate.digital with details of your organization by September 4. Venues Day 2017, a national networking event for Grassroots Music Venues, takes places on October 17 and features panel discussions, workshops and one-to-one advice.
