Booking agency William Morris Endeavour (WME) Entertainment has signed Rick Astley for worldwide representation in all areas.

Astley, who has sold more than 40 million records worldwide, holds the distinction of being the first male solo artist to see his first eight singles reach the UK Top 10. 

Last week, Astley returned to the US with a big comeback for his first official shows here since 1989 in advance of the release of his new album 50, which will be available October 7.

Earlier this year the BMG-released album hit No.1 in the UK, Astley's first UK No.1 in 29 years.
