Adele's manager Jonathan Dickins to be honoured at Artist and Manager Awards

Adele's manager Jonathan Dickins will receive the Manager of the Year Award at the 2016 Artist and Manager Awards.

September Management founder and MD Dickins (pictured) boasts a roster of 16 artists including producer and Adele collaborator Paul Epworth, as well as a host of developing and successful creators.

MMF chief executive Annabella Coldrick said: “I watched the campaign for 25 unfold before joining the MMF. The voice of the artist shone through an impressive subtle, yet precise, global campaign that put the music first. Management is about sharing an artist's vision and delivering it and Jonathan delivered the last part of the trilogy with exemplary skill. We are so pleased that he has accepted the Manager of the Year Award.”

The awards, supported by DICE, will take place at East London's Troxy on Thursday, November 24.

Eight management teams have been shortlisted for the Breakthrough Manager of the Year Award. Managers today are developing increasingly disparate entrepreneurial strategies for a wide range of artists and achieving success all over the world. They are: Amy Morgan, Glass Animals; Niko Michault, Jack Savoretti; Sam Stubbings, NAO/Mura Masa; Tobe Onwuka, Stormzy; Martha Kinn, Years & Years; Johnny Pinchard & Dan Bearman, Snakehips; Claire Southwick, Spring King and Steve Ambler & Matt Johnson, Oh Wonder.
