Bauer Media reveals BRITs cross-platform coverage

Bauer Media has announced a cross-platform broadcast and social strategy for the BRIT Awards.

Live at the Brits will involved a multi-brand radio broadcast, hosted by Kiss presenter Tom Green. There will also be social live red carpet broadcasts, hosted by Kiss presenter Pandora and Heat presenter Emily Segal across 20 Bauer Facebook and Twitter profiles.

Kiss Group programme director Andy Roberts said: “Consumer needs have rapidly evolved and this strategy of radio and social broadcasts, complimented by on-demand, are designed to grow engagement and reach as wide an audience as possible with highly desired content from one of the world’s biggest music events.”

The social media shows will be broadcast across Bauer brands KISS, heat, Key 103, Radio City, Metro, Forth 1, Clyde 1, Hallam FM, The Hits, Northsound, Radio Aire, Rock FM, Tay FM, Viking FM, MFR, West FM, Cool FM, Gem 106, Free Radio and Wave 105.

The radio shows will be broadcast simultaneously on Bauer brands KISS, heat and the Bauer City Network including Key 103, Hallam FM, Metro, Aire, Forth, Clyde, Free, Gem and The Hits, with highlights also broadcast on Absolute Radio and featured on Heatworld.

After the broadcasts, on-demand content will be available online and will feature exclusive interviews with award nominees and celebrities.
