Julie's Bicycle reveals shortlist for first Creative Green Awards

Julie’s Bicycle, an environmental campaigning  organisation for the creative industries, has announced the shortlist for the first ever Creative Green Awards.

The awards will celebrate and recognise the commitment to environmentally friendly practices of venues and companies from across the UK’s creative sector.

Running since 2009, Creative Green is a certification designed to enable venues, museums and galleries, festivals and offices to ‘assess their environmental commitment, understanding and improvement’.

The awards ceremony will be hosted by Caroline Lucas, co-leader of the Green Party, MP for Brighton, at Somerset House on 25 April 2017.

Last year, Julie’s Bicycle CEO Alison Tickell (pictured) was honoured for her outstanding work in the sector with the 2016 Music Week Women In Music Campaigner Award. You can read her interview here.
