Back in 2014 Singer/Songwriter Geoff Carne released his solo album called ‘One to One’ a collection of melodic rock with blues influences material influenced from his early years from the likes of Bad Company/Free and Whitesnake. He then took to the acoustic circuit for live performance and also started to arrange piecing together a band.
Teaming up with his former bandmate Mick Hatz from a band they played in together back in the 90’s they settled as a two-piece with Vocal/Guitar and drums.
The two then worked together on a strong song base to bring a new spin on the rising Rock/Blues genre in a traditional British style.
Working with producer Paul Mex they released the ‘Get Close’ Album in April 2016 which gained recognition in the blues radio and magazine scene bringing an Indie Rock/Blues tag.
In January 2017 they were voted best blues male artist at Severn FM Radio,Gloucestershire for 2016.
Live dates have continued from last year’s promotion of ‘Get Close’ into this year with new material being added.
Three singles recorded live at Nottingham’s Superfly Studios called ‘Choon’,’Medicine Man’ and a Kate Bush cover of ‘Babooshka’ have been released on film and on all the usual digital outlets this year.
A new studio single ‘Forgiven' with producer Paul Mex has just been released on June 23rd and this will form part of a new album to be recorded later this year.
