Leon Inc. is a new name, but one you should get your ears used to. The French producer has debuted his single “Microfibre” via tastemaker publication XLR8R just a couple of months ago and will be releasing his second single “Kepler-62” on 25th November via independent label Leon.
Both singles will be released as part of Leon Inc.’s album “Insert Disc” early 2017. New cut Kepler-62’s icy opening pads are as spacey as its namesake, but don't be fooled by the distinctive chillwave side ducking on this deeply electronic offering. Lying somewhere between Washed Out and Daft Punk, the classic analog synth bassline drives the repetitive groove of this instrumental with both gravity and finesse, unexpectedly tailing out to the purity of Chopin-esque piano.
Jeremy aka Leon Inc. says, “I produce a lot alone at night and Kepler-62 is definitely the most nocturnal track of the album; this feeling is well expressed at the web animation of this track on Leon Resort with that midnight blue. As for the interpretation of the title, look at the sky while listening to the track tonight, and it will be yours”.
Tune in now.
