2012 cassette single sales tripled following Feeder release

Cassette single sales tripled in 2012 overall, going from a modest 218 singles sold to 604 after Feeder’s January 2012 track Borders shifted 480 copies in the format.

The band’s single, taken from their then forthcoming eighth studio album Generation Freakshow, peaked at Number 52 on the Official Singles Chart.

The release was the first time Feeder had released a cassette single since 2001’s Just A Day.
