4Music will be dedicating the long weekend to dance music from August 24-26, playing brand new shows from David Guetta, LMFAO, and DJ Sara Cox.
The weekend will kick off on the Friday afternoon with Everyone’s Talking About…Live: Dance Party Special which invites viewers to request their all-time favourite dance tracks live via Twitter.
4Music will be partnering with The Official Charts Company to compile The Biggest Selling Dance Hits of the 21st Century, a four and a half hour special on the Friday Night.
The weekend will also feature LMFAO and Sara Cox revealing their all-time favourite dance tracks in the form of two brand new shows LMFAO's Party Rockin 20 and Best Dance Tracks Ever with Sara Cox.
The celebrations will culminate with the documentary movie, Nothing But the Beat, starring DJ legend David Guetta and his A-List collaborators.
Phil Poole, programming controller at Box TV said: “4Music’s Dance Party Weekend is part of Channel 4’s House Party and is scheduled to be the closing party of Summer on 4Music.
“The line-up is the ultimate guide to hit dance music, reflecting the nationwide appetite to get closer to global dance superstars like LMFAO and David Guetta. “
