6 Music Recommends has been rolled out by the BBC digital station as a new on-air and online destination to push its presenters' new music choices.

The new branding will be backed by four hour-long shows going out on the network each week and airing from Tuesday to Friday from midnight to 1am. They will be presented by Lauren Laverne (Tuesdays), Tom Ravenscroft (Wednesdays), Mary Anne Hobbs (Thursdays) and Steve Lamacq (Fridays) with each playing their favourite new music.
