Around 700 Fopp employees have lost their jobs, as Ernst & Young confirms that the retailer has gone into administration.
In a short statement, Ernst & Young, the joint receiver and administrator for Fopp and MZ2007 - the company under which Fopp operated the former Music Zone stores - announces the loss of approximately 700 jobs. This includes the company's three directors Gordon Montgomery, David Pryde and Peter Hill. Only the Fopp store managers remain employed.
