Music streaming service 8tracks has secured $1.28 million in funding, according to an SEC Form D filed last week (August 28).
Founded in 2006, 8tracks uses human curation rather than algorithms to create playlists, allowing uses to create and share playlists. The service is available via iOS and Android apps, as well as Xbox Live, Windows, Sonos devices and desktop.
