Jim Mahoney, vice president at the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM), is stepping down from his role in October to join global rights agency Merlin as US general manager, according to reports.
The exec has served seven years at the organisation, representing a coalition of music labels to promote sector opportunity and enhance the market share of it's combined membership.
