Adele heading back to number one

The XL album was replaced at number one last Sunday after an 11-week run by Columbia-handled The Foo Fighters' Wasting Light. However, the Adele album has now opened a lead of around 9,000 sales over Wasting Light, according to OCC data.

Adele's first album 19 is in third place for the week for far ahead of new entries from Parlophone's Gorillaz (The Fall) and Candent Songs/Polydor's Jamie Woon with his debut offering Mirrorwriting in fourth and fifth places. There is ...
