AEG Facilitiies' Brian Kabatznick has been appointed the new president of the European Arenas Association (EAA).

Kabatznick (pictured), who is the company's vice president of business development, was elected at the EAA's general meeting in Prague last month. Francesca Battistoni, event manager at Italy's Forumnet Group, was re-elected to the board at the same meeting and John Langford, of Glasgow's The SSE Hydro, became a new member.
