AFEM launches campaign to get back 'lost' £100m a year for electronic artists

The Association for Electronic Music (AFEM) has launched a campaign, titled Get Played Get Paid, to ensure electronic music artists, writers and producers are properly paid for performing.

In the UK, the combined sum collected for electronic music by PRS For Music and PPL is thought to be in excess of £15m a year.

However, an estimated £100m a year in performance royalties is reportedly lost or incorrectly distributed due to incomplete or missing data.
