AIF cautious about StubHub/O2 partnership

The Association of Independent Festivals has issued a cautious response to the partnership between The O2 Arena and ticket re-sale platform StubHub, expressing hopes that the deal isn’t “another major company attempt to profit from the secondary market”.

AIF has issued a Charter against secondary ticketing demanding that the sites do not sell ticket to their festivals.

The association has also launched an initiative with Sandbag called Ticket Trust in an attempt to provide an alternative to secondary ticketing platforms.
