AIM has released a request for proposals to organisations and individuals interested in creating an independent playlist brand for the sector.
The RFP follows an ongoing ambition, spearheaded by Cooking Vinyl's head of digital Sammy Andrews (pictured), for indies to match the major labels in playlists on streaming services. Andrews previously called for the independent community to join forces on playlists at AIM’s Music Connected conference in April this year.
