Ally Pally's hidden theatre set for new lease of life

Alexandra Palace’s hidden theatre will be brought back to life after it was awarded £18.8 million of funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).

The 1,300-capacity theatre, which dates back to 1875, could host acoustic music performances and other entertainment as part of plans to restore the north London venue’s most significant historic spaces to their former glory.
