Guitarist and singer Alvin Lee has died at the age of 68.
The news was delivered on the artist’s official website in a statement which said that Lee passed away unexpectedly this morning after complications following routine surgery.
Lee is well known for both his time with the band Ten Years After and his solo output, having worked with the likes of George Harrison, Ronnie Wood, Mick Fleetwood, Steve Winwood and many more musical icons throughout his career.
