Apple is expected to reveal a range of new products including a new version of iTunes and the iPad Mini at an invitation-only event in California later today.
The iPad Mini is expected to be unveiled with a 7.85 inch display, lower resolution (meaning it is likely to be sold at competitive prices) and rumours that it is as thin as an iPod Touch and the new MacBook Pro is rumoured to sit alongside new Mac Minis in the presentation.
Software updates are reported to come in the form of iBooks 3.0 and iTunes 11 with iCloud integration.
CNet reports that the Apple Store is down, showing the message ‘We’ll be back. We’re busy updating the Apple Store for you and will be back soon.’
The event will be live-streamed at 1000am PDT online and via Apple TV.
