Apple moves to ease indie publishing sector concerns

Apple is moving to quell the unrest within the indie music publishing sector over the contract offered to them late last week, according to reports.

Billboard says that the contract included a rate of 13.5% of revenues, but a number of its other terms left publishers concerned, including a provision giving Apple a two-year, 50% discount off the contract's minimum rates if its streaming service is bundled with a mobile carrier's phone plan.
