Apple reveals iPad Air

Apple has unveiled the “dramatically thinner, lighter and more powerful” iPad Air.

The design features a 9.7-inch Retina display and is 20 percent thinner and 28 percent lighter than the fourth generation iPad.

Available to buy from November 1 in silver or space grey, prices start at £399 (inc VAT).

Also announced today is the iPad mini with a 7.9-inch screen. Priced from £319 (inc VAT), it will be available to buy later in November.
