Apple recorded revenues of $74.6bn in the three months ending in December, turning a net profit of $18bn.
The figures represent a 30% year on year climb in total revenues, while earnings increased by 48% to $3.06bn.
It sold a record 74.5m iPhones during the period - up 46% YoY. The iPad didn't fair so well, unit sales dropped 18% to 21.4m.
