APRA royalty output up 4.2% YoY as AMCOS distribution dips
Australian PRO APRA distributed a record royalty figure of AU$177.4 million in its 12/13 financial year - but sister mechanical rights society AMCOS saw a dip in distributable income.
The APRA figure was up 4.2% year-on-year, according to AMCOS and APRA’s Year In Review report.
Of the total, AU$117.4m was paid to APRA members in Australia and New Zealand (up 3.1% YoY) with AU$60m going to affiliated societies (up 6.6% YoY).
