Are festivals really on the road to ruin?
Festival promoters have hit back at claims that music festival attendance is set for continued decline in 2013.
Speaking at the UK Festival Awards conference earlier this week, live director at Ear to the Ground Jon Drape said that “all the signs” for a healthy 2013 for live events “are positive” - despite Monday’s YouGov report that said 54% of UK festival-goers surveyed said they won’t be going to a festival at all in 2013.
