Arqiva, Bauer Radio and UTV Media to bid for national DAB multiplex licence

A consortium made up of Arqiva, Bauer and UTV Media is bidding to operate a second national DAB multiplex licence that could see up to ten new national radio stations launched in the UK.

Named D2, the licence follows on from D1 - which has now reached full capacity.
