Decca-signed singer Aurora has been revealed to be the artist on this year's John Lewis Christmas advert.

The Norwegian artist will cover Oasis' Half The World Away, as previously rumoured. Sources suggested that a cover of Steve Winwood's Higher Love was also considered, but the British rock band's track - also known as the theme tune to The Royle Family - won out.
