A leaked draft of the Trans-Pacific Partnership’s intellectual property chapter shows that Australia wants ISPs to police piracy on networks without having to bear the costs for it.
The Trans-Pacific Partnership is aimed at simplifying trade between the 12 nations involved: Australia, the US, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Peru, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, Chile, New Zealand, and Singapore. Wikileaks leaked the recent IP document, which was dated May 16 2014.
