Australian live performance industry worth $2.5 billion - study
The Australian live performance industry is worth $2.5 billion, according to a new study published today.
The study is based on most recent available data (from 2012) and was prepared by EY (formerly Ernst & Young). It is Live Performance Australia (LPA)’s second study of the economics surrounding the sector.
The study showed that the live performance sector accounts for 34,131 employees, compared to the film and video sector’s 20,439.
