Barry Holden has been promoted to vice president, Classical Catalogue at UMGI.

Costa Pilavachi, SVP Classical A&R, announced the news to Universal staff yesterday (June 12).
 
Holden was previously director of Classical Catalogue and worked with the group's two classical labels Decca Classics and Deutsche Grammophon to develop release schedules and maximise their global impact.
