Battle to win DAB multiplex licence begins

The two companies battling it out to operate a second national DAB multiplex licence have revealed what opportunities they could bring to the music industry.

Titled D2, the new licence follows on from D1 - which has now reached full capacity. Ofcom advertised D2 last year, with the aim of expanding radio station choice to listeners across the UK.
