BBC iPlayer Radio app arrives on Android
After its introduction to iOS late last year, the free BBC iPlayer Radio app has now become available on Android through the Google Play store.
The Guardian reports that it has arrived some six months after its iOS incarnation, boasting some improvements, and that it will soon become available from the Amazon Android App Store.
Features include live streaming from BBC stations, programme guides, on-demand access to shows broadcast in the last seven days, podcasts and video clips.
