BBC Radio 1 first radio station in the world to reach 1 million YouTube subscribers
BBC Radio 1 has become the first radio station in the world to reach the 1 million subscriber milestone on YouTube.
The station's dedicated YouTube channel launched in 2006 and has a reported audience consisting of 55% under the age of 24.
