The BBC has reached an agreement with publisher Wixen, after radio staff were banned from playing tracks by the likes of the Doors, Neil Young and Journey earlier this month.
Songs from these artists’ catalogues were removed from BBC playlists due to their withdrawal from MCPS, meaning that they were not covered by the MCPS blanket license.
