In an attempt to boost the introduction of its new streaming service Daisy, Beats Electronics CEO Jimmy Iovine has reportedly been in talks with telcoms provider AT&T regarding a partnership for its launch.
CNet reports that the plan is to bundle Daisy with AT&T data plans to gain market share swiftly.
Sources familiar with the talks have said that the negotiations regarding finer details are still in the early stages, such as what level of limited free access to give to lure in new consumers, with the ultimate goal to convert them to paying subscribers.
Trent Reznor of Nine Inch is Daisy's chief creative officer and Iovine prides the service on its expert curation that will come from a host of artists, DJs and producers, in addition to algorithms that link user tastes and recommendations.
Last month, Google revealed its foray into the streaming market with Google Play Music All Access.
