Beggars Group head of marketing, David Emery, is joining Kobalt Label Services to become its marketing director.

Emery has worked at Beggars for eight years. Widely regarded as an authority on digital marketing, the exec joins KLS next week.

He wrote on his blog today: "I’ve had the ridiculous fortune to work with some of my all time favourite artists [at Beggars] like Radiohead, The White Stripes, Sonic Youth and Queens of the Stone Age and about a million more. ...
