Biffy Clyro and Chrvches amongst finalists for Scottish Album of the Year 2013

The 10 finalists for the Scottish Album of the Year 2013 prize have been announced, with Biffy Clyro's No.1 album Opposites and Chvrches' debut The Bones Of What You Believe both in the running.

Mogwai, Boards Of Canada, Edywn Collins and The Pastels also recieve nominations.

The winner will be announced on June 19 and awarded a £20,000 prize. The awards honour 'the most outstanding albums' released by Scottish artists over the past year. All shortlisted albums take home £1,000.
