The Billboard 200 album chart will include individual track sales and streaming data from December 3, in its biggest update since 1991, when it first used SoundScan.
The new chart, revealed on December 3 and published in the December 13 issue of Billboard, will use data from Thanksgiving week (ending November 30). A ratio of ten digital track sales will equal one album sale. 1,500 streams from an album will also count as an album sale.
