Billy Bragg to speak at MusicTank streaming event
Billy Bragg will speak at MusicTank’s first think tank of 2014 focused on the economics behind the streaming model – particularly the artist’s cut.
The singer-songwriter and indie icon added his voice to the streaming debate towards the end of last year, calling for artists to question labels about royalties rather than seeing streaming services solely as a problem.
MusicTank will explore whether more openness about how royalties are calculated could help alleviate the distrust felt by some artists.
