Blur have been added to the impressive bill of Converse's Represent series of shows at the legendary 100 Club in August.
A full 21 years after the release of their debut album Leisure in 1991, Blur will play the venue on Thursday, August 2.
The band recently premiered have two new songs – Under The Westway and The Puritan – ahead of a sold out return to London’s Hyde Park on Sunday, August 12.
The Represent show will complete a week which will have seen the likes of Plan B, UK Subs, Paul Weller and Spiritualized take to the legendary stage to headline other evenings.
“Represent builds on our global commitment to music,” said Geoff Cottrill, chief marketing officer, Converse.
“We’re excited to bring such an amazing and diverse roster of artists under one roof and to give music fans around the world a chance to participate in the action through our live streams or here on the ground in London.”
Represent will feature 45 Artists who have shaped the global music landscape of the past, present and future.
For a final chance to be at this incredible gig, fans will need to visit www.converse.co.uk/blur from 9:00 AM on Wednesday 1st August.
Ticket registration will be open between 9:00 - 18:00 after which winners will be selected at random and notified.
Successful applicants will receive notification via email, inviting them to confirm attendance by midday on Thursday 2nd August. On completion, an e-ticket will be generated for successful applicant and guest.
