BMG acquires French label Atmosphériques, inks JV with 8ball in the Netherlands

BMG has done two deals in continental Europe that sees the company expanded in the recorded music business.

In France, BMG has acquired the Atmospheriques label, with founder Marc Tonon moving to a consultancy role for the company.

Notable acts on the Atmospheriques label include UK artist Charlie Winston, whose debut album sold 400,000 units in France and nearly 100,000 in Germany.
