These catalogues include ARC Music, Six Palms Music and Third Story which represent works by acts such as Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Howlin' Wolf, Elmore James, John Lee Hooker, Jimmy Reed and Sonny Boy Williamson.
"We're extremely proud to be representing these unique, timeless copyrights, and introducing legendary writers such as Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Tom Waits, and Alice Cooper to future generations of artists and fans," says BMG North America COO Laurent Hubert.
Fuji Entertainment America president Hidehiko Koike adds that while Arc Music songs are the origins of modern popular music the Six Palms/Third Story represents an era that people have lived through. He adds, "It is our great pleasure to expand opportunities and directions with BMG, and to exploit these fabulous songs in today's music culture."
