BMI has emerged victorious in a court battle with Pandora of the amount the internet radio service must pay in performance royalties.
Pandora has been ordered to pay 2.5% of its revenue for BMI’s blanket license – that’s up from 1.75% that Pandora previously paid, and a significant improvement on the 1.85% that ASCAP secured in its own court ruling.
