Michael O’Neill will replace long-serving Del Bryant as BMI CEO and President.
Bryant spent 40 years at the organisation and a decade as its head. O’Neill, meanwhile, has been with BMI for 20 years and moves from his current position as SVP of repertoire and licensing.
The new appointment came from a unanimous decision by the BMI Board of directors. O’Neill will assume the CEO role on September 16 and the role of president in June 2014.
