BPI appoints Tim Cooper as head of content protection

The BPI has appointed Tim Cooper as head of content protection. He will join the BPI on April 20 and will report to BPI general counsel, Kiaron Whitehead and chief executive, Geoff Taylor.

The appointment comes around two months after the BPI announced that it would be restructuring its Copyright Protection Unit (CPU) department.
