Brit Awards 2014 attracts record-breaking 4 million tweets

The BRIT Awards 2014 ceremony that took place last night (February 19) attracted a record-breaking 4 million tweets overall, double the amount it did last year.

A blog by Twitter that cited stats from social analytics form Second Sync, reported the impressive topline social media numbers with the exact total tweets amount between the ceremony broadcast time of 8-10.30pm clocking in at 4,147,936. The detailed breakdown is as follows:

  • Impressions 8426.4m
  • Average TPM (tweets per minute) ...
